3 Day RJ Practioner Training
Would you like an understanding of restorative ethos and what it looks like in schools?
Would you like to build up your restorative skills?
Would you like to contribute to the building of a strong, mutually respectful, safe, inclusive and peaceful school community?
Then join Peacemakers in May in Birmingham for three days of intensive, interactive facilitator training.
The course introduces participants to the philosophy and language of restorative practices. It also engages participants in identifying how to apply this relational way of dealing with conflict in their setting. Delegates have the opportunity to look at how to use restorative meetings and informal restorative chats to create positive, caring and accountable learning environments. Some action planning is included as part of the course so that you leave with concrete ‘next steps’ for your organisation.
The course is delivered by a practitioner, who is accredited by the Restorative Justice Council (RJC – the membership body for restorative practices in the UK). This training course comprises three days training (21 hours) with additional reading. This training course has been set at entry level practitioner (level C).
The course runs over three days. Although you are booking for the 16th May on Eventbrite, your fee covers the three days:
Monday 16th May 2022 (9.30am-5pm)
Tuesday 17th May 2022 (9.30am-5pm)
Monday 23rd May 2022 (9.30am-5pm)
